Packers look to avenge rare Lions sweep at Lambeau

A losing streak to the Detroit Lions is rare for the Green Bay Packers, but they hope to end one to their Michigan rivals on Thursday night.

The Lions ended a five-game losing streak last season with two wins over the Packers, including what proved to be the game that ended the Aaron Rodgers era in Green Bay. It is the longest winning streak the Lions have had against the Packers since winning four straight between 2017 and 2018. The Packers have had the upper hand against the Lions over the last 32 meetings at Lambeau Field with a 28-4 record, but it is Dan Campbell who has had his way against Green Bay, winning three of his four games as the head coach for Detroit.

The Packers are coming off a thrilling 18-17 win over the New Orleans Saints at Lambeau Field on Sunday with all of those points coming in the fourth quarter. The Lions beat the Atlanta Falcons at Ford Field last week 20-6. The two teams are the only ones with wins in the NFC North as the Minnesota Vikings and the Chicago Bears hope to end their season-long losing streaks on Sunday.

The kickoff is set for 7:15 p.m.
