While many local cross country teams will wait for Friday’s Russ Fameree Invitational at Northbrook Country Club in Luxemburg to compete, two schools will lace up their shoes for Thursday.
Gibraltar is scheduled to compete against Hilbert, Hortonville, Kaukauna, Manitowoc Lincoln, Winneconne, Valders, St. Mary Catholic, St. Ignatius, Mischicot and Oostburg at Brillion’s Deer Run Golf Course. Their first race is set for a gun start at 4 p.m.
Southern Door is scheduled to join Appleton North and West, Ashwaubenon, Denmark, Fox Valley Lutheran, Seymour, Green Bay East and Southwest, Freedom, Little Chute, Marathon, Marinette, Menasha, New London, Notre Dame, Oshkosh North and West, Peshtigo, and Shawano Community for a meet hosted by Seymour beginning at 4:30 p.m.
