Sevastopol captures small-school crown at Fameree Invite

The Sevastopol Pioneers stood out amongst a tough field at the Russ Fameree Invitational hosted by Luxemburg-Casco Friday afternoon, winning the top spot amongst small schools.

The host Spartans were the top local school overall in the standings, taking fifth among boys' teams and third among girls' teams. The Pioneers finished fourth overall, but first among those with a smaller enrollment.

Individually, Kewaunee's Hannah Miller continued her dominating season with a time of 19:16 to capture the girls' race title. Kewaunee's Christopher Cullen and Luxemburg-Casco's Kyan Lynts ran a nearly identical time with Cullen coming out ahead by hundredths of a second.
