The Southern Door Eagles started the 2023 WIAA playoffs on a positive note Friday night in Brussels, running over the visiting Tomahawk Hatchets on the way to a 48-7 victory. The Eagles will host the Wrightstown Tigers on Friday, October 27th, in Brussels on U102.1 starting at 6:45 p.m. with the pregame and kick-off at 7 p.m. The Tigers beat Sturgeon Bay on Friday night 29-12.
The playoffs began like how the regular season went for the Kewaunee Storm, as they took care of business against Packerland foe Oconto, 42-0 on 104.1 WRLU Friday Night. Kewaunee is set to face #4 Cedar-Grove Belgium after the Rockets defeated Waterloo 28-13 to set up the level two matchup on 104.1 WRLU next Friday night at 7 p.m.
The Luxemburg-Casco Spartans exploded with big plays Friday night to trounce the Little Chute Mustangs 37-6 in a WIAA Division 4 Level 1 playoff in Luxemburg. The #2 seeded Spartans (9-1 overall) will host the #3 seeded Kiel Raiders in Level 2 playoff action next Friday on 96.7 WBDK and streamed on New Radio Sports Network. The pregame is set for 6:45 p.m. on 96.7 WBDK, and the kick-off is set for 7 p.m.
