Gamblers earn sweep in blowout

After two nail-biting victories on Friday and Saturday, Sunday's 5-1 victory over the Muskegon Lumberjacks was suitable for the stress levels of the Green Bay Gamblers.

Lev Katzin opened the scoring in the first period with his fourth goal of the season. The Lumberjacks would return the favor early in the second period, only to see the Gamblers score the next four goals. Libor Nemec scored twice, while Geno Carcone and Landen Gunderson provided the other tallies in the victory. Gavin Moffatt stopped 23 of the 24 shots he faced.

The Gamblers are back in action on Friday in Geneva, Ill., when they take on the Chicago Steel for a weekend set.
