Playing at home made no difference for the Green Bay Packers as another slow start doomed them in a 24-10 loss to the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday.

The Packers' offense barely reached the century mark in first-half yardage for the second week, failing to pick up a first down until four minutes left in the second half. They would pick up five first downs on their lone scoring drive, ending with a 30-yard field goal by Anders Carlson, only made possible because of a Vikings penalty. The Packers were lucky to only be down by seven at the break after Kirk Cousins engineered two scoring drives, including a touchdown run by Cam Akers. 

The Vikings continued their dominance in the third quarter, with Cousins throwing two touchdown passes in two minutes, including one that came on the heels of a Jordan Love interception.  A one-yard touchdown grab by Romeo Doubs capped off the scoring for the game despite the Packers having the ball inside the Vikings' 25-yard line twice in the fourth quarter. The Packers failed to take advantage of the uneven play of Jaren Hall, who came in relief of Cousins, who saw his season end with a torn Achilles.

The Packers will try to salvage what is left of the season with another home game on Sunday against the Los Angeles Rams.
