Two more fall WIAA sports will bid farewell to 2023 this weekend, with the state tournaments concluding.

In Milwaukee, two teams from northeast Wisconsin are still alive in the WIAA State Soccer Tournament. De Pere will play Brookfield East at 11 a.m.  West De Pere clinched a state title game appearance with a 3-2 upset victory against top-seeded Waukesha West. They will play three-seeded Union Grove on Saturday.

Closer to home, teams from across the state are at the Resch Center in Green Bay for the state volleyball tournament. Appleton North and Xavier are some of the teams that are trying to get to Saturday's finals.
