Caps avenge loss vs. Gamblers

The Green Bay Gamblers found themselves on the wrong side of a high-scoring affair on Saturday night at the Resch Center, falling to the Madison Capitols 6-4.

The game was tied at 3 apiece heading into the third period thanks to Gamblers' goals from Julian Lutz, Josh Player, and Geno Carcone. Mykhailo Danylov would tie the game at 4-4 with just over 10 minutes left in the third period before Austin Burnevik finished off his hat trick with two goals in the final four minutes to give the Capitols a weekend split. The rubber match will take place on Wednesday at the Resch Center at 7:05 p.m.
