Badgers take back the axe

The Wisconsin Badgers will have Paul Bunyan's Axe with them when they return to Madison after beating Minnesota 28-14.

 

The Badgers returned to their old usual self in Minnesota's capitol city, rushing for 267 yards on 44 carries. Leading the way was Braelon Allen, who rushed for over 160 yards and two touchdowns. He helped lead the Badgers from an early 7-0 deficit to outscoring the host Golden Gophers over the next two quarters. Tanner Mordecai threw for 145 yards and two touchdowns in the Badgers win. Athan Kaliakmanis threw for one touchdown and an interception in the loss for the Gophers. 

 

The Badgers will now wait for their bowl game opponent.
