Last week, Southern Door hosted and won their first-ever Eagles Girls Scramble, scoring 120 points and beating ten other teams. The four-girl round-robin tournament saw Nora LeFevre win the 114-pound weight class for the Eagles while Delaney Wilke (107), Sydney Turner (138), Hailey Veeser (145), and Kailyn Neville (185) take second place with 3-1 records. The Spartans wrestlers won six of their eight matches at the tournament. The top finisher was 185-pounder Kiley Georgel, who captured first place with four pins, all of which occurred before the halfway point of the third period. Evelyn Lange split her matches at 138 pounds.  SBS' Tiani Lemieux won the 145-pound weight class with a perfect 4-0 record with four falls. The only match that last longer than 40 seconds was her match against fellow state qualifier and Door County resident Hailey Veeser of Southern Door.
