Gamblers win series against Phantoms

The Green Bay Gamblers came up a game short of sweeping its weekend series against the Youngstown Phantoms.

 

The Gamblers captures the first two games at the Resch Center on Friday and Saturday, winning those games over the Phantoms 5-4 and 5-3. The Phantoms were able to prevail on its getaway day, 6-4.

 

Leading the Gamblers in scoring during the weekend set was Julian Lutz with six points (1G, 5A), Michael DeAngelo with five points (2G, 3A), and Ben Poitras with five points (2G, 3A). Two others registered three points.

 

Chicago Blackhawks draft pick Adam Gajan went 1-1 in his return to the Gamblers, while Gavin Moffatt won his lone start between the pipes for the team.
