Gamblers visit Lancers for weekend set

The Green Bay Gamblers will spend another two nights on the road this weekend, visiting Omaha to face the Lancers.

The Gamblers lost their make-up game to the Madison Capitols 10-3 on Wednesday, giving up nine unanswered goals. Gavin Moffatt was chased from the game after two periods after giving up five goals in the second period, following Ben Poitras and Tanner Bruender staking the Gamblers to a 2-1 advantage after the opening frame. Geno Carcone scored the Gamblers' third goal with just under two minutes left in the contest.

The Lancers split their two games last weekend with the Chicago Steel, winning their first game 6-2 before losing on getaway day 6-1.

Friday's game is set for 7:05 p.m., while Saturday's game is scheduled for 6:05 p.m.
