Phoenix women look to punch ticket to final vs. Mastodons

The road to the NCAA Tournament for the Green Bay Phoenix women's basketball team goes through Indianapolis on Monday and potentially Tuesday when they play Purdue Fort Wayne.

The Phoenix women scored at least 20 points in all four quarters of its 94-57 win over Youngstown State. That includes outscoring the Penguins 27-6 in the opening frame to put the Phoenix ahead for good. Five Phoenix players registered double figures in the win, led by 16 points from Luxemburg-Casco alum Cassie Schiltz. The Phoenix women will take on No. 3-seeded Purdue Fort Wayne in Indianapolis on Monday. Tip-off is slated for 1:30 p.m.
