The Green Bay Packers continue to reshape their roster for the 2024 season with the free agency period officially starting on Wednesday. One familiar face, dynamic special teamer Keisean Nixon agreed to a three-year, $18 million contract with another $1.2 million possible in incentives on Tuesday, according to NFL insider Ian Rapaport.
Nixon, a cornerback by trade, averaged 26.1 yards per kickoff return last season and averaged 6.8 yards on punt returns. He has led the NFL in kickoff return yardage the past two seasons and played extensively as a nickel back in the Packer pass defense.
The 5' 10" Nixon is 26 years old and joined the Packers in 2022 after playing three years for the Oakland/Las Vegas Raiders. He was first-team All-Pro in 2022 and 2023.
