Sturgeon Bay’s Adam Rasmussen placed second in the National 2024 Bass Pro Shops Bassmaster Classic in Tulsa, Oklahoma, this past weekend. Finishing with 55 pounds-four ounces, Rasmussen finished behind Justin Hamner, who had 58 pounds-four ounces. Rasmussen, a Door County fishing charter captain, claimed a $50,000 cash winnings for his second-place finish. The three-day Bassmaster tourney was held on Grand Lake O the Cherokees in Tulsa, where 56 competitors were fishing for smallmouth bass.
