Rasmussen takes second in Bassmaster Classic

Sturgeon Bay’s Adam Rasmussen placed second in the National 2024 Bass Pro Shops Bassmaster Classic in Tulsa, Oklahoma, this past weekend.  Finishing with 55 pounds-four ounces, Rasmussen finished behind Justin Hamner, who had 58 pounds-four ounces.  Rasmussen, a Door County fishing charter captain, claimed a $50,000 cash winnings for his second-place finish.  The three-day Bassmaster tourney was held on Grand Lake O the Cherokees in Tulsa, where 56 competitors were fishing for smallmouth bass.
