Brewers top Twins, stay undefeated

The Milwaukee Brewers won for the fourth straight time by downing the Minnesota Twins 3-2 in their home opener at American Family Field Tuesday afternoon.

The Brewers jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first three innings after Christian Yelich hit his second home run of the season.

Pitcher Jakob Junis started for Milwaukee and went four innings allowing only three hits and one earned run while striking out four.  The Brewers bullpen took care of the rest by going five strong innings and not allowing a hit while giving up just one unearned run.  Abner Uribe picked up his third save of the season and Elvis Peguero earned the win going two innings.

Bryce Turang went 2/3 with a double and a walk to lead the Brewer attack.

Milwaukee and Twins will face off Wednesday at 12:10 p.m. with Joe Ross getting the start for the Brew Crew as they look to go 5-0 to start the season.
