The area's baseball teams will try to head out of the area this weekend in search of games beginning on Friday.
This week's games have been wiped out up to this point because of Tuesday's snowstorms.
If field conditions allow:
- Gibraltar is scheduled to face Eau Claire Regis, Mishicot, and St. Mary's Springs Academy at the Adams-Friendship Tournament. First pitch is at 9:30 a.m.
- Kewaunee could play Spooner in Mauston at 11:30 a.m. at the Woodside Sports Complex
- Gibraltar softball will try to open their season in Mauston at the Woodside Sports Complex against the host school or Colfax at 4:45 p.m.
- Sevastopol softball hopes to travel to Coleman to face the Cougars at 4 p.m.
- Luxemburg-Casco baseball will try to face NEC rival Oconto Falls on the road at 4:30 p.m.
The Woodside Sports Complex consist of turf fields, giving a little more hope that games could be played.
