The Sevastopol/Gibraltar soccer team is scheduled to open their season on Thursday in Manitowoc against Manitowoc Lincoln.
The United are coming off a 3-13-2 campaign last season, splitting their four games against other independent teams. They haven't played since June 1st when they lost to St. Mary Catholic in their WIAA Regional opener.
They played the Ships to a 1-1 draw last year. The Ships were 1-17-3 last season, losing to Divine Savior Holy Angels 8-0 in their WIAA Regional opener. They were held scoreless in all but six of their matches last year.
If field conditions allow, the game is set for Ron Rubick Field at 4:30 p.m.
