The Luxemburg-Casco baseball team scored single tallies in the final two innings, but it was not enough to overcome the Oconto Falls 3-2 at Capital Credit Union Park Saturday morning. 

The Panthers put the Spartans in a 3-0 hole thanks to an RBI single by Luke Gilbertson in the fourth inning and two more runs in the fifth. The Spartans chipped away in the game's final two innings. Braeden Schley had an RBI groundout in the sixth inning to cut the lead for the Panthers to two. Max Thayse drove in a run with a single, but on the same play, Bandow was gunned down at the plate to end the game and the Spartans' threat.
