Packerland Conference golf heads to The Woods

The Packerland Conference will host its second meeting in seven days on Monday at The Woods Golf Course in Green Bay.

Gibraltar, Kewaunee, NEW Lutheran/Providence Academy, Oconto, Peshtigo, Sevastopol, and Southern Door are all scheduled to participate when the meet begins at 4 p.m.

The Sturgeon Bay golf team opened the Packerland Conference season with a win on last Thursday at Cherry Hills Golf Course in Sturgeon Bay. Led by Tre Wienke's nine-hole score of 42, the Clippers had four golfers finish under 50 strokes to secure the win with a score of 185. Every stroke mattered as Southern Door's Finley LaVine posted the best round of 37 to lead the Eagles to a second-place finish with a score of 191.
