Sturgeon Bay wins fourth leg of Packerland Golf Tour

The Sturgeon Bay golf team continued their strong play in Packerland Conference action on Monday at Vernon Hills Golf Course.

 

The Clippers won the meet with a score of 178, five strokes better than second place Gibraltar (183) and 13 better than Southern Door (191). Luke Selle and Tre Wienke tied each other with a score of 42, matching Gibraltar's Teddy Roth and Southern Door's Finley Lavine.

 

Kewaunee's Evan Maccaux won his second straight meet with a low score of 38, three strokes better than second-place finisher Carter Koch of Oconto. The rest of the scores are below.

 

 

 

Sturgeon Bay is back in action on Tuesday at Whistling Straits when they battle Crandon, Crivitz, Gillett, Laona-Wabeno, Lena, Niagara, Oconto, Oneida Nation, Peshtigo, and Saint Thomas Aquinas Academy. The tee time is set for 1 p.m.
