Kewaunee's Bortolini ready for next step in NFL

It might be safe to say that Kewaunee's second favorite NFL team is the Indianapolis Colts after they made former Storm standout Tanor Bortolini the 117th pick of the NFL Draft this weekend.

Bortolini tested off the charts at the NFL Combine earlier this year after a career at Wisconsin where he also showed his versatility to play multiple positions along the offensive line. A video played on the Colts' social media feeds featured Bortolini lost for words knowing that has NFL dreams had been realized.

During his media availability, Bortolini talked about his excitement to learn from the Colts' veterans, specifically name-dropping Ryan Kelly and Quenton Nelson. "You want to have careers like those two," Bortolini said, according to an article on Colts.com. "They've done it for a long time at an extremely high level and they're some of the best to do it at their respective positions. So, to be able to work with guys like that, you can learn a lot from those two, like what they do to put themselves in positions to be as good and as successful as they are. I'm really excited to get to know and work with them."

Bortolini earned All-State honors as a left tackle during his senior year and also garnered the Packerland Conference Defensive Player of the Year award after earning lineman of the year honors during his junior campaign at Kewaunee.
