The Badgers mens basketball team will drop in the rankings again this weekend after the team dropped their third straight game last night. After starting a school best (16-0) the team is now (16-3). Last night the unranked Minnesota Golden Gophers had their way with UW in an 81-68 victory.
UW never led in the hostile environment of Williams Arena a.k.a. “The Barn” in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Wisconsin also saw the leading scorer for the Gophers exit the game just 16 seconds into the contest due to injury.
Sam Dekker led the Badgers with 20 points. Freshmen Nigel Hayes played tough in the paint and finished with 12 points. Upper classmen Frank Kaminky and Josh Gasser were held in single digits, with nine apiece.
