Thursday Night Packerland Conference Girls Hoops

Southern Door continued their hot streak in the Packerland Conference. Playing motivated basketball, the Eagles soared past N.E.W. Lutheran 48-40. Bailey Hanson was the game’s top scorer with a 17-point effort. Courtney VanHout added 12 points in the victory.

The other Packerland Conference game last night was a lopsided affair between Oconto and Sturgeon Bay. UWGB recruit Laken James led the Blue Devils to a 69-25 win with 17 points added by Jaelyn Jicha. The win keeps Oconto just a game back of Algoma in the Packerland at (7-1).

Sevastopol won a non-conference matchup with Stockbridge 35-31. The low scoring affair featured game high scorer Jessica Wagner. The Pioneer senior poured in 15 points triggering a second half comeback.  Demi Ploor added 13 points for her best scoring output of the season.
