Traevon Jackson had ice water pumping through his veins in the final moments when he connected on a 15 foot jumper from the left wing to lift UW over Michigan State 60-58. He took the inbounds pass coast to coast and buried the number nine team in the nation.
Adreian Payne took the Spartans on his back in the second half and led all scorers with 24 points. Wisconsin did just enough however to hold on to the home Big 10 victory.
The Badgers move to (19-5) overall and (6-5) in Big Ten play.
