
Sturgeon Bay proved their number one state ranking was deserved by controlling their game with third ranked N.E.W. Lutheran 2-0. The Clippers scored a goal in each half. Zach Owens found the back of the net first and Reid Stevenson added an insurance goal in the second half. Coach Todd Maas summed it up with two words, "GREAT GAME!" The win locked up the Packerland Conference championship outright for the Clippers.
Luxemburg-Casco won a defensive battle with West De Pere 2-1 in Bay Conference boys soccer. Tyler Zimmerman and Jared Dart scored the Spartans goals while Jacob Massart held up quite nicely in goal with 11 saves.
The Algoma Wolves used home field advantage to earn a bit of an upset victory against the Gibraltar/Sevastopol squad. Tyler Kline and Nathaniel Berg scored a goal apiece to move into third place in the Packerland Conference. Jake Blazkovec made 13 saves for the Wolves. Tristan Warner scored the lone goal for the Northern Door squad.
Southern Door was shutout 10-0 against a Menasha St. Mary's squad that seemingly capitalized on every Eagle mistake Tuesday. Menasha scored six of their goals in the first half.
