Packers Sign Greg Van Roten To Active Roster

The Green Bay Packers signed guard Greg Van Roten to the active roster from the practice squad over the weekend. The transaction was announced by Executive Vice President, General Manager and Director of Football Operations Ted Thompson.

Van Roten is a 6-foot-3, 303-pound rookie out of the University of Pennsylvania, has been on Green Bay’s practice squad for each of the first five games this season. He originally signed with the Packers on June 25, 2012.

Van Roten was the first guest on the "Witt Ford Red Zone With Graham Harrell" in Sturgeon Bay.
