The Witt Ford Red Zone With Graham Harrell was packed last night to welcome two current Green Bay Packers, NFL and Sturgeon Bay alum Casey Rabach, and the Sturgeon Bay Girls Swimming Team. Last night's broadcast on 104.1 FM WRLU (and podcast on DoorCountyDailyNews.com) also featured the drawing for a Lund fishing boat through the NFL Alumni Association.
The first 45 minutes was devoted to Swim Coach Dave Bubnik and the Sturgeon Bay varsity swimmers. Each of the 15 girls in attendance had a chance to talk on the radio during the salute to swimming. Savanna Townsend, the state champion in the 50-yard freestyle and second place finisher in the 100 butterfly, led off the show. She talked about what it was like to swim at the Natatorium at UW Madison.
