Maybe heartbroken Packers fans have found a new reason to turn their favorite sports channel on again. The Wisconsin Badgers men's basketball team shook up NCAA hoops with the upset of the year. The unranked Badgers took down the number two ranked Indiana Hoosiers in Indiana.
The Badgers' 64-59 win Tuesday night sent 17,000 raucous IU fans into a state of shock. A nationally telecast game, Cody Zeller proved he is possibly the most explosive player in college hoops. The Indiana seven-footer registered a double-double with 23 points and ten rebounds.
Wisconsin was led by Ryan Evans' 13 points and eight rebounds. Other major contributors included Jared Berggren, Mike Bruesewitz and Traevon Jackson.
The win will certainly send the Badgers into the top 25 when next week's polls are published.
