The Brewers added the 2004 American League Rookie infielder Bobby Crosby to the farm system this week. Crosby inked a contract that would pay him $800,000 if he makes the team with $450,000 in incentives built in to the contract.
The Minor League contract includes an invitation to Spring Training, the Brewers announced yesterday. Crosby, 33, hasn't played in the Major Leagues since 2010. He has played with the A's, Pirates and D-backs and has a .236 career batting average in parts of eight seasons.
