
Sturgeon Bay started off strong but couldn’t stay on top of undefeated N.E.W. Lutheran in Sturgeon Bay. The Blazers (17-0) recovered from a slow start and took down the Clippers, 62-52. Nathan Abrahamson led the Clippers with 10 points and Joey Sheehy added 9.
Southern Door stayed strong in the second half, beating Algoma, 51-41, in Brussels. Mitchel Neubauer led the Eagles with 15 points while Cal McCarty put up 14. Hunter Prokash, Sam Koss and Travis Kostichka each scored 11 points for the Wolves.
Brandon Steebs led Gibraltar with 22 points in a 69-59 victory over Oconto in Fish Creek. In a hard-fought game, the Vikings took charge in the third quarter outscoring Oconto 17-9. Amedee Savard added 17 points for Gibraltar.
Kewaunee didn’t waste any time taking control of the game in Sevastopol last night, outscoring the Pioneers 26-9 in the first half. Logan Brusky led the Storm with 19 points in the 50-40 victory. Cody Giesseman made a valiant effort for the Pioneers, scoring 22 points.
