When a piece of prime real estate goes up for sale in suburban Green Bay, it usually doesn't make the local sports report. When that piece of real estate belongs to free agent wide receiver Greg Jennings, it's newsworthy.
It appears the Green Bay Packers and Greg Jennings are further apart on a new deal than anyone expected. Free agency hasn't even started yet, and Jennings made it very clear that he is on his way out of Green Bay.
The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel was the first to report the real estate story and Packers quarterback Graham Harrell played the company line well in his reaction to the news.
Harrell said Jennings is one of the most talented receivers he has ever thrown the ball to and will miss the All-Pro on the field and in the locker room.
The Miami Dolphins are considered front-runners for Jennings since former Packers offensive coordinator Joe Philbin is now the head coach in South Beach.
