
In an effort to raise money for Door CANcer, the Southern Door girls basketball game tonight against Sevastopol will go all pink. Pink t-shirts, pink ribbon cookies, and all fans are encouraged to wear pink to the Packerland Conference girls hoops game. Southern Door's Eagle Gymnasium will be transformed into a breast cancer awareness forum tonight thanks to the tremendous vision and leadership by senior Cora Baudhuin.
Cora and her mother Connie have organized two PINK volleyball nights over the past two seasons and are taking their fund raiser efforts for Door Cancer to the hardwood tonight.
The Pioneers travel to Southern Door to take on the Eagles at 6:00 for the JV game and 7:30 PM for the varsity matchup. During the varsity game there will be a 50/50 raffle and a shoot out for a pink T-Shirt.
Also tonight, the Packerland Conference re-match of the year will be played in Kewaunee. The "War on the Shore" part two will play out between the Strom and the Algoma Wolves. Kewaunee is out for revenge after Algoma won the first matchup of the season.
