As of 6:00 this morning all Kewaunee County snowmobile trails closed due to deteriorating snow conditions. Snow forecast for tonight and tomorrow could re-open trails, but as for now Kewaunee County snowmobilers will have to trailer their sleds to Door County if they want to ride in the peninsula.
The Kewaunee County Promotions & Recreation said riders should be aware that they can be cited for riding on County snowmobile trails when they are closed. Hundreds of gracious landowners are responsible for the County’s 290+ state-funded and club trails. Please respect their property and their privacy.
