Cambridge, Wisconsin native Matt Kenseth led more laps than any other NASCAR driver yesterday at the Daytona 500 but engine problems late in the race had the defending race champion watch the finish from the garage. Five-time NASCAR Champion Jimmy Johnson took the checkered flag in front of Dale Earnhardt Jr. Sunday.
After making history sitting at the pole, Danica Patrick finished in the top-10, a great start to the season for the rookie driver. The pole and the top-ten finish were both firsts for a woman in NASCAR.
