The NEW Lutheran Blazers boys basketball team is one win away from earning a trip to the Kohl Center in Madison for an opportunity to compete for a state championship in Division 5. Nathan Toenjes tallied 29 points as the Blazers crushed Sheboygan Lutheran 84-62.
Nathan Claflin scored 15 points as Sheboygan did all they could to take Travis Voight out of the game. They did keep him in check with only six points but Toenjes and Claflin made them pay the price.
The undefeated NEW Lutheran squad will now travel to Menasha tomorrow for a 1:00 PM tip off with Niagara for the sectional championship.
