Algoma, Kewaunee and Oconto begin their march towards Madison tonight in the WIAA regional girls basketball tournament. After a first round bye Tuesday, the Wolves, Storm and Blue Devils are well rested and ready to prove the Packerland Conference is the best in the state this year.
In Division 3, Kewaunee hosts number nine seed Chilton, while Algoma opens play in Division 4 against Bonduel. Finally, Oconto welcomes in Gillett. If both Algoma and Oconto advance in the tourney, the earliest the two teams would meet is in the sectional final. That game would be played on March 9 at Waupaca.
