Tonight’s WIAA Division 4 state semi-final in high school girls basketball between Algoma and Cuba City will be broadcast on 104.1 FM WRLU from the Resch Center in Green Bay. Pre-game coverage begins at 6:00 PM with tip-off scheduled for 6:35 PM.
The Wolves eased through the sectionals with two double digit wins. After beating Oshkosh Lourdes by 23 last Thursday, Algoma stomped out Oconto by 15 Saturday night. Both of the sectional game broadcasts are archived at DoorCountyDailyNews.com. A win tonight would help Algoma take one step closer to ending the school’s 27 year state title drought.
Tonight’s state semi-final will feature the (24-2) Algoma Wolves and the (24-1) Cuba City Cubans.
