It’s inevitable that the Milwaukee Bucks will clinch the eighth and final playoff position in the Eastern Conference. The team delayed the inevitable however by losing again last night to the Minnesota Timberwolves 107-98. Still needing to finish strong, things do not get any easier for the Bucks tomorrow when they travel to New York to play the much improved Knicks.
Wednesday, Ersan Ilyasova led the Bucks with 29 points, but the Bucks' 20 turnovers kept them from victory. Milwaukee’s record fell to (36-38). The good news Wednesday was that Philadelphia lost at Charlotte. The Bucks' magic number for clinching the eighth playoff spot in the East is now just two. That means any combination of 76ers losses and Bucks wins that equal two will deliver the eighth seed to Milwaukee.
