The Chicago Cubs scored five of their six runs in their final two at bats and came from behind to sink the Brewers 6-3 Tuesday night. Wily Peralta pitched 6 2/3 innings, allowed three runs, two earned, on six hits. Unfortunately Peralta had to turn the ball over to Milwaukee’s achilles heel, their bullpen.
John Axford got out of a jam in the seventh but surrendered a double and two walks in the eighth. The Cubs plated three runs in the bottom half of the frame and secured the second game of the three game series.
Wrigley Field will host the first pitch tonight at 7:05 for the series finale between the Cubs and Brewers.
