The Green Bay Packers traded down three times on night two of the 2013 NFL Draft to net an additional three picks. General Manager Ted Thompson, as is par for the course, added a few more picks via trades with the San Francisco 49ers and Miami Dolphins.
The Packers traded second round pick number 55 overall and third round pick number 88 overall to the 49ers. In return Green Bay picked up overall selection numbers 61, 93, 173 and 216.
The second round swap with San Francisco moved the Packers back six picks but still saw first round hopeful Eddie Lacy, running back from Alabama, available for Ted Thompson.
The GM was not done wheeling and dealing on night two of the draft. He dialed up another move down the board and gained two extra picks from Miami by trading third round pick number 93 overall for selection number 109 in round four, number 146 in round five and seventh round pick number 224. All of Friday night's trading moved Green Bay from 8 2013 draft picks up to 12 overall selections.
