Brewers Offense Struggles Against Rangers

Brewers’ pitcher Kyle Lohse has pitched quite well this season, but the run support he has received is troubling. Milwaukee provided only one run Wednesday night as “The Crew” fell 4-1 to Texas.

The Rangers scored a run in each of the first three innings and saw starter Derek Holland scatter a bunch of hits but did not allow a big run output. The Brewers collected 12 hits in all but scored just once.

Carlos Gomez was the lone bright spot for the Brewers offense. He extended his career-best hitting streak to 14 games. Ryan Braun added two hits, including a single in the third inning that extended his hitting streak to 10 games and his Interleague hitting streak to 30 games.
