Southern Door Grad Wautier Ends UWO Softball Career With All-Conference Honor

Southern Door High School’s all-time leader in wins and strikeouts collegiate career came to an end this month. Courtney Wautier led the Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Conference with 17 wins and 106 strikeouts during her senior campaign. Her 1.70 ERA was second best in the WIAC in 2013.

Wautier made 18 starts and tossed 15 complete games this season. She held opponents to a .219 batting average in 136 innings. On March 20, Wautier threw a seven-inning no-hitter against SUNY-Brockport. The next day, she fired eight innings with just one hit allowed in a victory over Worcester State.

Wautier ends her career with 395 strikeouts, which ranks 12th in WIAC history. She became the third Titan to reach 50 wins, finishing 50-30 with a 2.76 ERA. Wautier also totaled 45 complete games in 110 appearances (523 innings).

She finished with every Southern Door pitching record during her high school career.  Wautier’s name is now forever engraved all over the UWO record books too.

Courtney Wautier will join us live on 104.1 FM WRLU this morning. Listen to “The Country Music Morning Show With Nick Freimuth” to hear Wautier reflect on an amazing softball career.
