The Brewers crushed the baseball Wednesday night against the Miami Marlins in South Beach. A 10-1 Milwaukee win featured a shutout start through seven innings for Alfredo Figaro.
A pair of bases loaded triples was the offensive storyline. Jonathan Lucroy did it in the first inning and Carlos Gomez scored on his bases loaded triple in the seventh because of a throwing error. Gomez tied Jean Segura for the Major League lead in triples and finished with four hits for the eighth time in his career. Segura hit a solo homer in the third inning.
The team will have the day off today before starting a three game series with the Cincinnati Reds tomorrow.
