The Milwaukee Bucks received two more second round draft picks by trading away defensive stopper Luc Richard Mbah a Moute. In a trade with the Sacramento Kings Milwaukee added a second round selection in both the 2016 and 2018 NBA Drafts.
The 6-foot-8 native of Cameroon averaged 6.9 points and 5.3 rebounds in five seasons with Milwaukee after being selected 37th overall in the 2008 draft.
Mbah a Moute was owed $4.6 million for next season so that number will come off the Bucks' salary cap. The money was likely needed to search out and address a number of offensive needs still unaddressed by Milwaukee this offseason after the departure of Monta Ellis, JJ Reddick and Mike Dunleavy.
The Bucks did sign free agent and former Milwaukee small forward Carlos Delfino this week.
