Wily Peralta pitched a three-hit shutout to lift Milwaukee to a 2-0 win over the Reds last night. The last Milwaukee pitcher to throw a complete game was Yovani Gallardo 407 games ago. For the 24 year old Peralta, it was the first complete game of his Major League career. He scattered four walks, two singles and a triple while throwing 113 pitches.
Logan Schafer accounted for all of the team’s offense by hitting his first Major League home run.
