Brandon Jennings' days in Milwaukee may be over after the announcement yesterday that Atlanta Hawks point guard Jeff Teague signed a four year contract Wednesday. The Bucks have already lost Monta Ellis when he turned down Milwaukee’s offer of $11 million next year and a two year extension.
Teague signed a four-year, $32 million offer sheet yesterday, the team reported. The Hawks will have three days to match it, and if they do not, Teague will be the Bucks' new starting point guard. Teague averaged 14.6 points and 7.2 assists for Atlanta last season. The former Wake Forest standout played under Milwaukee coach Larry Drew the past three seasons in Atlanta.
The addition is the latest move in a summer of change for the Bucks. Milwaukee already inked free agent shooting guard O.J. Mayo.
