Packers First Round Draft Pick Making Quite An Impression

Datone Jones may be the most humble first round draft pick the Green Bay Packers have ever signed. The defensive end from UCLA has been doing everything at training camp, literally. Typically a job for rookie free agent and low round draft pick, Jones has even been taking reps on special teams. Jones has the mentality coaches love to hear.

Jones has been welcomed with open arms into the brotherhood of defensive lineman for the Green Bay Packers. Datone said he can’t believe how welcoming, open and helpful the other Packers D-lineman have been so far in training camp.

Datone Jones has flashed more than any other rookie so far in Packers training camp. His impressive strength coupled with lightening fast footwork could make him the next force to be reckoned with along the defensive line.
