The Sturgeon Bay Clippers boys soccer team suffered their first loss of the season last night 2-0 to Green Bay Notre Dame. A quick goal found the back of the net just 3:20 into the first half. Notre Dame scored again with 13:11 left in the first.
Sturgeon Bay’s Caleb Owens made seven saves in goal compared to the six made by the Green Bay goalie. Coach Todd Maas said he was very proud of the way his team responded after going down two goals early.
Kewaunee shutout Algoma 4-0. Zack Townsend netted two goals to lead the Storm. Taylor Crabb and Jonah Schneider added the other two goals for Kewaunee.
