Kewaunee To Host Brillion In First Round Of Playoffs Tonight On 96.7 FM WBDK

The Kewaunee Storm will host a familiar opponent tonight on 96.7FM WBDK when they will host the Brillion Lions. The last time these two teams played was week eight of the regular season and the Storm had no problem winning to 41-14. After a year off from the playoffs, the Storm are back and ready to make a long postseason run.

Through the air, Kewaunee is led by senior quarterback Caleb Johnson who led the Olympian Packerland-Large Conference with 1,492 yards passing and 18 touchdowns. On the ground, the Storm is led by Austin Kassner who finished the regular season with 715 yards and eight touchdowns.

Brillionbarely snuck into the post season. Brillion is coming off a pounding victory over Sturgeon Bay 47-18. Brillion is led by Max Scharf at quarterback and Elliot Piepenburg who has seven touchdowns on the ground.  Another spark for the Lions is Graham Hasse. He is a running back who can also catch the ball out of the backfield and has excellent speed. For the Storm to have success they must control him.

Pregame tonight starts at 6:30 with first kick at 7pm. Nate Alberts and Jerry Delebreau will have the call for you tonight with the winner advancing to level two to either play Winnebago Lutheran Academy or Niagra/Goodman/Pembine next Friday November 1.
